Product Champion - Tractor Conveyance & Surface Equipment

Summary: Reporting to the Regional President, the Product Champion - Tractor Conveyance and Surface Equipment will generate relevant market intel and analysis, product specification requirement determination, the business and pricing plan, operational standard conformity assessment and technology road map for the Tractor Conveyance and Auxiliary Surface Equipment under development, up through its commercialization.
Market introduction of these products will require close coordination with field locations worldwide which will require assisting the locations in developing the deployment and execution capabilities (personnel, facilities, maintenance programmes).

- Develop market and competition analysis for the relevant product and its applications.
- Technology roadmap and product lifecycle planning
- Establish the business plan for the product portfolio including sales projections, ROI calculations and all aspects of field execution.
- Help optimise market share and profitability.
- In coordination with Senior Specialist and Field locations, set out the field test plan (FTP) criteria, and identify clients candidates for the technology.
- Assist the Field Test Supervisors (FTS) in assigning and getting the required resources.
- Review field test reports to validate product performance and visit clients/locations to get feedback on performance.
- Set up reporting system for FTS
- Provide marketing input to Engineering on the product specifications.
- Review product performance from field locations and customers and feedback to Engineering.
- Coordinate training programmes for sales and operational personnel.
- Provide the necessary inputs for initial technology deployment cost (CAPEX) .
- With assistance from Finance and the field locations, consolidate and analyse financial performance for the relevant products
- Bachelor’s degree in Geoscience, Engineering or related technical field.
- 5 - 10 years’ experience in an operational and/or technical role within Wireline Tractor & Application Services or other associated wireline/completions products/services.
- 2 plus years Sales Engineering or Technical Sales experience.
- Experience managing field service teams within wireline and field testing operations.
- Strong knowledge of Wireline Tractor applications.
- Experience guiding engineering development teams and executing product road maps from initiation to market commercialization.
- Experience introducing Wireline Tractor technology to market preferred.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 30%.
